Days of White Plague
Tormented by the rain
Remembering her smile, her ways
Manic deliberate plans, the only way to save
(The rose of Solares Hills)
The unforgettable night of the 25th
Under the whispering shade of October
The catalyst of Death
spectre of dreams transformed
(die Idee des Gespensts in der Endphase)
Two years her body silent
Pursed lips within the tomb
Each day paying tribute
Making plans beneath the moon
(I knew what I had to do)
Her singing corpses siren beseeched me with song
Together forever the promise, even with her lifesblood gone
The crypt built of altgeld kept her safe ‘till it was right
Until royal wings of red flyer could safely conceal her home through night
Washing the dead flesh, reliving that pain
Ritualistic maintenance to relish the dance of memories flame
Each emesis a treasure, to be saved, savoured and loved
Bottled up and honored, inhalation rendering the mind numb
(Wafting wisps of a wilted rose)
The elysian bonding of two profound souls
Mind and body united within the perfection of the mold
Bride of perfect silence, a shrine built for a husk
Fogs of perfume and incense to mediate the musk
Candles left burning, her perfection laid bare
Intimacies lacked in life carefully performed within our lair
(das Ritual lebt)
Criminal by nature, this intricate affair
The ignorant babbling of neighbors, those mistrusting stares
The morbid confrontation resulting in these chains
They parade my majesty like a nightmare for the world
What the fools dont realize is her spirit remains
Within the confines of this sordid cell
I hear her still, remembering her smell
She’s with me now always, invoking pleasure and pain
Pain from the knowledge that her body eludes my grasp
Pleasure in my mental lapse, haunting songs and unknown facts
Whisperings permeate me from the grave, my mind the willing host, slave.
I feel the thing which grabs me the most on this album, is that Nietzu has finally done something which almost 99.99% of all dungeon synth songs have not; actually add VOCALS to them. This removes Memoriam Sagnuinis from the "dime a dozen" category. Changing up from those tunes to more deeper, darker, thumpy beats is also a grand welcome too. Another great release from Neitzu. Getting swept up in the merciless undertow driving these all-consuming black-metal songs is half the fun. The other half is in the riffs. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 17, 2019
